Why do you think the people allowed the donkey to be taken?
When the people placed their cloaks on the ground for Jesus, this was reminiscent of a story earlier in the Bible where God chose a new king. How is Jesus a new king? Who is he replacing?
The people shouted Hosanna, which means “save us.” What did salvation look like to them and what did it look like for Jesus?
Jesus comes to the temple, looks around, and leaves. Why do you think he did this? Why didn’t he clear the temple, which is what he would do later on?
