Questions for John 15:1-8
Jesus assigns roles to himself and God. What does it mean that Jesus is the vine and God is the vinegrower?
The believers are considered the branches that bear fruit. What is the “fruit” that believers should be bearing?
How is the believer “pruned” by God? What examples can you give from your own life?
What does it mean to abide in Jesus?
In verse six, Jesus says those who don’t abide with wither and are thrown into the fire. Is the fire hell or is it something else?
Questions for Acts 8:26-40

Who is the central character in this story? Is it Phillip the Ethiopian eunuch or the Holy Spirit?
Phillip explains the text to the eunuch and tells him about Jesus. What does this have to say about evangelism?
The eunuch sees the water and asks Phillip what is to prevent him from being baptized. Why does he ask this?
Phillip is one of the original deacons called to feed those in need and yet here he is preaching to the eunuch the good news of Jesus. What is the connection between service and witness?
