Questions:

  1. Phillip tells Nathaniel to ‘come and see.’  What does that mean to Philip?  To Nathaniel? What does it mean to you?

  2. Nathaniel wants to know can anything good come from Nazareth.  What did he mean by that?  What are the places today where we might question anything of value coming from there?

  3. What role does a relationship have when it comes to discipleship?

  4. Look at John 1:51.  It draws from the story of Jacob’s Ladder found in Genesis 28:12 and the descent of the Son of Man in Daniel 7:13.  What is Jesus saying about himself?

You can read the reflection, “This Is Who We Are” along with the questions by going here.
