Washing A Teacup

Questions:

  1. Think about a time when you were ill. How did that disrupt your daily living?

  2. What did it mean for Peter’s mother-in-law to get up and serve after being healed? Was she fulfilling a gender role or was it something more?

  3. Jesus took time away after healing people to be alone with God? How is that important to Jesus’ ministry? How is it important to our ministries?

  4. Read Mark 10:45. How does this relate to the healing of Peter’s mother-in-law and the healing of others in today’s text?

You can read the reflection, “Washing the Teacup” along with the questions by going here.
